In early 2024, I was elected, to the Board of Directors of CLAGS: The Center for LGBTQ Studies at the CUNY Graduate Center. I am currently serving my first three-year term on the board.

In 2021-2022, I served on the Board of Directors of the American Comparative Literature Association as one of two Graduate Student Representatives.

I run an Instragram account called Stooping Books, which collects and shares images of used books that are being given away across New York’s five boroughs.

During my time at NYU, I was an organizing member of the NYU Postcolonial, Race, and Diaspora Studies Colloquium (PRDS).

I co-founded and co-organized (in its inaugural year) an event series and working group at NYU with my colleague Heba Jahama called the Queer Studies Forum.
