I’m a scholar of literary and cultural studies and an Assistant Professor of Literature at Stevens Institute of Technology.

My scholarly work and interests span the fields of Science Fiction Studies, Postcolonial and American Literature, and Queer Studies.

I began my university career at Fergusson College in Poona, India, before studying at the universities of Freiburg and Berlin, where I was a European Commission and Rosa Luxemburg scholar respectively. From 2016 to 2022, I undertook doctoral work in Comparative Literature at New York University.

In 2021-22, I was a Mellon-funded Public Humanities Fellow at the Museum of the City of New York and served on the Board of Directors of the American Comparative Literature Association. In 2023, I was named an inaugural Faculty Research Fellow by the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences at Stevens. In 2024, I was elected to the Board of Directors of CLAGS: The Center for LGBTQ Studies at the CUNY Graduate Center.
